1. Who we are and what you accept
AUTONOMA is a service operated by [Nombre y NIF del titular] ("AUTONOMA", "we"), reachable at hello@web.byautonoma.com. By using byautonoma.com, its sample sites or any of its plans you accept these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
2. What the service is
AUTONOMA finds local businesses with no website or a broken one, builds a sample site from the public information on their Google listing, and drafts a message for the user to send them. It also hosts websites purchased by businesses. AUTONOMA does not send messages to anyone on the user's behalf.
3. Free use
With no account you can search businesses, see the measured reason, read the message and open the published sample sites. By registering your email we'll tell you when you can request your first sample site; building sample sites comes with a paid plan. Free use has hourly request limits and a daily cap on sample sites for the whole service; we may adjust them without notice.
4. Plans for people who sell websites
Starter (€49.99/month, VAT included): 60 sample sites a month and hosting for up to 5 sold sites. Agency (€99/month, VAT included): 250 sample sites a month, up to 20 sold sites, several people on the account, white label on samples, close support and the Claude Code or Cursor connection when available. Quotas are launch quotas and may be adjusted; we give at least 15 days' notice. Plans are monthly, renew automatically and can be cancelled from your account effective at the end of the paid month. No contract.
The user sets the price of the sites they sell and charges the business directly; AUTONOMA takes no commission on those sales. We recommend $299 plus $49/mo, but the price is free. Hosting for sold sites is included in the plan up to the stated number; if you cancel the plan, we give at least 30 days' notice so you can move them or the business can purchase hosting directly.
5. Website for a business
A business can purchase its website for $299 (one-time, building and launch) plus $49 a month (domain, hosting and up to 2 changes a month to text, photos, hours or prices), plus any applicable tax. The site can be viewed before paying. The monthly fee renews automatically and can be cancelled anytime effective at the end of the paid month; the site goes offline then. The one-time payment is not refunded once the site is delivered, except under the withdrawal right in section 8.
Sales rule: if an AUTONOMA user has shown a business its site, the sale belongs to that user and AUTONOMA will not sell it directly to the business over their head.
6. Permitted and prohibited use
Permitted: using sample sites and messages to offer a website to the business they belong to, one at a time, in compliance with the law where the recipient is (in the U.S., CAN-SPAM for business email; in Spain, the LSSI restricts commercial email without prior consent, so we recommend a direct message, a call or a visit).
Prohibited: bulk sends, spam or misleading messages; using business data for any purpose other than offering them their site; reselling access to AUTONOMA, sharing the account beyond the team allowed by the plan, copying or scraping the business database; impersonating AUTONOMA; and any unlawful use. We may suspend or close an account that breaches this, with no refund of the current month.
7. Business data and ownership
Sample sites are built from public information on the business's Google listing and are temporary; they may be taken down at any time, and always at the business's request. When a business purchases its site, the site is theirs while active: its text, photos and data belong to them, and the owner is responsible for having the right to use any photos they provide. The code, the styles and the AUTONOMA brand are ours; the user receives a non-exclusive license to use them while they have an active plan or site.
8. Payments, invoices and withdrawal
Payments are made by card through a payment processor; we issue an invoice for every charge. Plan prices include VAT; the business website price is plus applicable tax. If a payment fails, we notify you and, if unresolved within 7 days, suspend access until it's paid.
If you're a consumer in the European Union, you have 14 calendar days from purchase to withdraw without giving a reason, by writing to hello@web.byautonoma.com. If within that period you asked us to start providing the service (for example, you built sample sites or we delivered the business's site), the proportional part for the service already provided is deducted.
9. Warranties and liability
We commit to keeping purchased sites available and to making the included changes within a reasonable time. We don't guarantee sales, replies or income to anyone using AUTONOMA to sell websites: those depend on their work. The service is provided "as is" in its current state; features marked "in development" or "coming soon" are not part of the contract until available. Our total liability to a user is limited to what they paid us in the previous 12 months, except for willful misconduct or where the law doesn't allow limitation.
10. Data protection
We process your data under our privacy policy. When we host a business's site and that site collects its customers' data (for example, a form), the business is the controller and AUTONOMA acts as processor on its behalf, solely to provide the service.
11. Changes and governing law
We may change these terms with at least 15 days' notice by email; if you disagree, you can cancel before they take effect. These terms are governed by Spanish law. For any claim, write to us first at hello@web.byautonoma.com; EU consumers may also use the European online dispute resolution platform.
