The model

How the AI builds a site from real Google data.

01 · 01 / 03

What AUTONOMA is

AUTONOMA builds the site for a local business that doesn't have one. It takes what that business has already published on Google (its photos, reviews, hours, phone and address) and builds a complete site from it, in one of three styles, published at its own address so anyone can open it from their phone.

You use it to sell websites in your city: you find businesses with no website, build their sample site, send them the message, and get paid for every site you sell.

What it isn't: it's not a course that teaches you theory, it's not a template you fill in by hand, and it doesn't send messages for you (except the Agency plan, and only in the US and Canada).

How a site gets built, step by step

  1. You search. Pick a business type and a city. Within seconds you see the ones with no website or a broken one, with the measured reason: not mobile-friendly, doesn't load, no way to get in touch.
  2. You read the message. On each business, "See message" shows you the text you'd send them: short, specific, no promises. Nothing gets sent from here.
  3. You build the sample site. Within seconds you see real progress: Google photos, building the site, publishing, done. The site appears at its own address and you open it.
  4. You send it. You copy the message with the link and send it to the business yourself, one at a time, on whatever channel you prefer. With the Agency plan, the machine can send it for you in the US and Canada.
  5. You get paid. If the business says yes, you set your price and charge them. Their site moves to their own domain (they buy it) and stays hosted inside your plan.

What data it uses and where it comes from

For each business, AUTONOMA uses what that business has published on its Google listing: name, address, phone, hours, photos, rating and reviews. It's public data anyone can see on Google Maps.

That's what builds a temporary sample site, meant so the owner can see what theirs would look like. If the business orders its site, it moves to its own domain and the owner decides which photos and text stay.

If you own a business and want us to take down its sample site, write to hello@web.byautonoma.com and we'll remove it.

How to sell

The message that works, the most common objections, and what price to ask.

02 · 01 / 04

The message that works

The message we give you is short, names something specific about their business, and links straight to their sample site: no "hi, I have an offer for you." Change it if you want, but don't stretch it out; the link does the convincing, not the text.

Sign it with your real name. A business trusts a person faster than a brand it doesn't know. If you have Instagram or your own site, link it: it's your credential.

Send one, wait, and move to the next. Don't send the same message twice to the same business or chase people who don't reply: it shows, and it burns the door for next time.

02 · 02 / 04

The most common objections

"I already have a website": AUTONOMA only shows you businesses with no website or a broken one. If theirs is genuinely fine, it won't show up on the list; if it does, something's wrong and you can point to it with facts, not opinions.

"Who made this?": you did, with AUTONOMA. There's no need to hide that you use a tool: what you're selling is the result, and that you're the one who brought it to them.

"It's too expensive": compare it to what it costs them today to have no website (customers searching Google and not finding them) and to a traditional agency, which usually costs a lot more for a site with no maintenance included.

"Let me think about it": don't push. Tell them the sample site is still there and they can write to you whenever. Move on to the next business.

02 · 03 / 04

What price to ask

We recommend $299 upfront plus $49/mo, plus tax where applicable. It's the price we use when an owner comes straight to AUTONOMA, so it doubles as a reference point for them too.

The price is yours: raise it if the business makes it easy, or lower it the first time if the case is worth it for your portfolio. What you can't do is promise sales or customer results: you're only selling the site.

The domain isn't included: the business buys it, wherever they like. Your fee covers hosting and the monthly changes, not the domain.

02 · 04 / 04

One at a time, no spam

AUTONOMA writes the message; sending it is on you (except Agency in the US/Canada). And that matters, because your country's law decides how you can write to a business.

In the US and Canada, where the Agency plan can send for you, commercial email to businesses is allowed if it identifies the sender, tells the truth, and offers an opt-out.

House rules, for any country: one message per business, don't chase people who don't reply, respect a "no" the first time. Anyone who uses AUTONOMA for mass or misleading sends loses their account.

03

The sales funnel

From an Instagram reel to a sold site: attention, DM, sample, close.

03 · 01 / 04

Get the first look

Show the real process, don't describe it: a screen recording searching for a business, seeing it has no site, and the site showing up built. That convinces more than any explanation.

End with an open question, not "link in bio": "what business in your city would you search for?" People who comment a real business are the ones most likely to message you later.

You don't need to be on camera. The content is the screen and what happens on it.

03 · 02 / 04

The DM that converts

Reply fast and say who you are: an automated DM with no identity looks like spam. Introduce yourself, say what you do, and ask for the business type and city.

Don't sell yet in the DM. The goal of the message is a single click: get them to search for their business, or one they care about, and see the sample site with their own eyes.

If someone writes in a city in Spain or Latin America, be just as honest as with everything else: the search already covers it, so type their city and country right in front of them and let them see it for themselves.

03 · 03 / 04

The sample does the work

Don't explain what AUTONOMA does: show the finished site. A sample site open on a phone convinces more than any sales pitch.

If it's for selling to a business, send the message with a direct link to their site, not to the AUTONOMA homepage: the first thing they see should be their business, not a tool.

03 · 04 / 04

The close

Ask directly: "want us to make it permanent? It's $299 upfront and $49/mo." No beating around the bush, no fake deadlines.

If they say yes, charge them yourself and log it as a sale. If they say no, thank them and move to the next one: no hard feelings needed.

Keep track of who replied and who didn't. A second pass at the ones who didn't reply usually brings in more sales than fresh messages do.

Getting paid and invoicing

Who charges what, how to invoice, and what to do when you get your first yes.

04 · 01 / 05

What's free and what comes with each plan

With no account you can search businesses, see why they have no website, read the message and open every published sample site. With your email, we'll tell you when you can build your first sample site.

Starter ($49.99/mo, VAT included): 60 sample sites a month and hosting for up to 5 sold sites. Agency ($99/mo, VAT included): 250 sample sites, up to 20 sold, automatic search and sending of up to 10 emails/hour in the US and Canada, white label and priority Discord.

Quotas are launch quotas and may be adjusted; we'll notify you first if they change. No annual plan, no contract.

04 · 02 / 05

Who charges the business

You do. You set the price and charge the business directly. We recommend $299 once plus $49/mo, but the price is yours.

Your plan includes hosting for the sites you sell (up to 5 with Starter, up to 20 with Agency). AUTONOMA charges you the monthly plan; it doesn't take a cut of your sales.

Fixed rule: we never sell over your head. If an owner comes to AUTONOMA after you've shown them their site, we tell them to buy it from you.

04 · 03 / 05

How to invoice

To get paid for selling websites you need to be registered as self-employed, or whatever invoicing setup applies in your country. We're not tax advisors: if you're not sure, ask an accountant before your first payment.

Keep a record of every sale: business, date, amount and how you were paid. That's enough to issue whatever invoice your country requires. If the owner pays you in dollars, your bank or payment processor converts it; keep that day's exchange rate too.

The monthly payments a business makes are yours, not AUTONOMA's: you collect them and you invoice them, just like the $299 setup fee.

04 · 04 / 05

Changes to a sold site

The ordered site includes 2 changes a month: text, photos, hours or prices. They're requested by email and AUTONOMA regenerates the site rather than editing by hand, so they're usually done the same business day.

A full style change doesn't count as a monthly change; it's quoted separately. If you sell websites, you either request your clients' changes for them or give them our contact.

04 · 05 / 05

Cancelling

Starter and Agency plans cancel from your account anytime. You keep access until the end of the paid month.

If you have sold sites hosted on your plan and cancel, we'll give you notice to move them or have the business take over hosting directly.

As a consumer in the European Union you have 14 days to withdraw from the date you ordered; if you've already used the service in that window, the proportional part is deducted.
